Meadowrig livestock consists of a herd of pedigree limousin cattle and a flock of cross texel/suffolk sheep which are both farmed on Stuartslaw and Whitedamhead, Berwickshire. Our limousin herd started in 2009 with the birth of embryo calves from one of our foundation cows Woodhouse Sara. Subsequently more females were purchsed from leading herds including Brockhurst, Haltcliffe, Ironstone, Lodge, Miscombe and Sarkley along with heifers imported from leading French herds including Broussaud, Champeval, Souton Germain and Chatelus.
