Meadowrig livestock consists of a herd of pedigree limousin cattle and a flock of cross texel/suffolk sheep which are both farmed on Maryfield at Lamberton. Our limousin herd started in 2009 with the birth of embryo calves from one of our foundation cows Woodhouse Sara. Subsequently more females were purchsed from leading herds including Brockhurst, Ironstone, Lodge, Haltcliffe and Sarkley along with heifers imported from leading French herds including Broussaud, Champeval, Souton Germain and Chatelus.
